14 Punchy TikTok Marketing Strategies

TikTok users don’t come to TikTok to receive news, updates, or shop. They want to have fun and laugh at their content.

After you have a solid TikTok content strategy, you can begin to increase your reach, traffic, and sales.

You don’t have to try all strategies. That would be a lot of work.

1. Tiki: Post at the Best Times

Do you want to know when TikTok has been active? It is possible. The answer is probably already known. It all depends upon when you post to TikTok.

It comes down to who you are and what your industry is.

There’s no best time to post on TikTok. We have done some research and can modify these numbers as we examine audience engagement and analytics.

  • Monday: 6 AM, 10AM, 10 PM
  • Tuesday: 2AM to 4AM, 9AM and 10AM
  • Wednesday: 7 AM, 8 AM, 11 PM
  • Thursday, 9 AM, 12 AM, and 7 PM
  • Friday: 5 AM, 1 PM, 3 PM
  • Saturday: 11 AM-7 PM, 8 PM
  • Sunday: 7 AM-8 AM, 4 PM

Timing is crucial, but more important is consistency and being able to post on TikTok whenever you want.

2. Create a rhythm and stay consistent

How often should you post to TikTok? Twice daily. Maybe once a week.

There’s no magic number. Some accounts see great engagement by posting multiple times per day, while others see significant TikTok growth when they post only once.

Be consistent, not focused on the number. Don’t be inconsistent with your publishing schedule.

TikTok recommends posting 1-4x per day. Start there. Do not waste time creating more content.

3. TikTok Influencers

TikTok stars are well-known for having huge followings and high engagement.

Where should you start? TikTok makes finding influencers easy and measuring your results.

Start looking for influencers by heading over to the TikTok Creator Market. You can view their audience demographics such as age, gender, and TikTok usage.

These influencers have years of experience in their fields, so they can help you if you provide the product and direction.

4. Niche to TikTok micro-influencers

Your budget is not sufficient to hire Tyler Brown or Zach King as TikTok influencers.

Micro-Influencers have a higher likelihood of having thousands of followers than they do millions. These micro-influencers often have smaller communities which allow them to communicate with their audience in a more personal way, increasing trust and engagement.

TikTok micro-influencers can be more affordable. If you like what you see, you might consider a one-time engagement with a TikTok major-name influencer.
