A TikTok strategy takes time and effort. This is the easy part. Science and data can help you navigate viral chaos.

TikTok’s general design was based on research that determined the best times to post. These times vary depending on the day.

To identify engagement trends, Influencer Marketing Hub analyzed more than 100,000 TikTok posts. The following are the best times to post every day, all in Eastern Time.

According to this study, Friday at 5:05 a.m. was most popular for engagements.

The big caveat is that these numbers are only useful if you consider your time zone and the location of your viewers.

These data are very useful and can be used to create your TikTok strategy. This will help you determine the best time to post on TikTok.

Learn how to use TikTok to see when your audience is active.

Step 1 – Open a Business Account

First, ensure that you have a Pro Account or Business Account. Next, click Switch to Business Account. You will be able to access analytics and other features.

Step 2 – Open your analytics dashboard

Next, locate the analytics for the account. Click on the menu to your right and click Creator Tools. Next, click Analytics.

This opens TikTok’s analytics dashboard, which gives you all the information about your account and followers.

Step 3 – Find your next activity

Click on the Followers tab to find the best time for you to post to TikTok. Scroll down and see the “Follower activity” pane.

This page shows when your followers are most active.

This data shows that the activity of this account’s followers rises throughout the day. It peaks at 10 p.m. ET.

You can also find this information on a desktop at www.tiktok.com/analytics. This provides a more detailed view such as the one below. Your data can also be downloaded from the desktop dashboard.

This is very useful information because it tells you when users are active on TikTok and when your followers are active.

This is important as your customers and followers might have different peak activity hours than you. Their activity might peak after school hours.

This is how Shopify’s TikTok group determines the best time to post.

The location of your followers will be displayed on your dashboard. If you’re based in the UK and have many UK followers, it might make sense to split your posts.

Step 4 – Check your activity on each TikTok posting

See when your followers are most active and get a better understanding of when they most likely engage with your content via comments, likes, and watch time.

This section contains data on individual posts from the last seven days. You will find information about individual posts over the past seven days, including total play time, average viewing time, who was reached, and whether the video was found through your profile or the For You page.

This data includes information about when and where you posted your video. Combining these data with your analytics will help you determine if your strategy for posting on TikTok is working. You can dig into your dashboard.

It’s important to start posting

The Analytics dashboard gives you a deeper and more personal view than the Influencer marketing hub study. This dashboard can be a great guide for your TikTok strategy.

This is the downside to all of this. Your information will become more detailed once you have 100 followers. To receive analytics, you must have published content.

It is essential to start posting immediately if you’re just starting a TikTok account.

TikTok recommends businesses post up to four times per week. We also suggest that businesses focus on authentic content. TikTok’s guide to TikTok Marketing gives tips and tricks for how to create the best TikTok content.

The more you post, the more data, feedback, and followers you will get. This will help you identify the best times for posting on TikTok.
