Pay-per-click advertising, even if you’ve never used it before, is an effective way to market your company. It’s precise, cost-effective, and intuitive.

You need to be aware of many details to optimize your PPC campaign. There are only four steps that you need to follow to get started.

1. Choose your keywords

You must decide what keywords you want to use for PPC. It is important to know the industry terms people are searching for so you can plan your PPC campaigns.

Keywords will enable you to communicate with customers using the same language in your PPC campaign.

Use long tail keywords to target your customers. These keywords can lead to information about ladders or rules for backyard games.

Instead, you should use more specific keywords such as “ladders to rent in [your area]”, but these keywords will be less popular and those who are more likely to use them more often will be more likely to become clients.

2. Build your landing pages

Landing pages answer users’ questions and offer solutions.

Instead, create pages that revolve around keywords. This will provide detailed and useful information about them.

For example, you might have a page called “different kinds of ladders”, or “ladders for painters”. More information will help you answer a user’s question.

You don’t just answer a user’s question. They will also see that you are trustworthy and intelligent, which can lead to them becoming your customers.

3. You should write ads.

After you have identified the keywords and pages you want to target, you can begin writing your ads.

The keyword that you want to target in your ad should be in the headline. Potential customers will notice you.

Once they are interested, you can call them to action with strong calls such as “Call Now”, “Buy Now, and “Sign Up Now”. Call-to-actions can help you get clicks, and eventually new customers.

Advertisements may include your address, phone number, and link to other pages. This makes users feel more at ease and builds trust.

4. Keep an eye on the results

PPC’s trackability is why it’s so valuable to the marketing industry. You can track how often your ads appear, clicks, and who clicks them. This information can be used to improve your PPC campaign as well as to boost your other marketing channels.

The percentage of people who click on your ads after seeing them This is your CTR. Increase your CTR.
