This blog will provide all the information Salesforce users need to convert an email into a lead.
Salesforce’s Email To Lead feature allows you to create new leads using data from email.
Do you need a simple email to connect to Salesforce? Are you tired of receiving hundreds of leads by email and finding yourself in a position where you have to manually add new Salesforce entries?
Although it would seem ideal that these leads would be sent via a Salesforce Web to Lead form they were, this is not always true. Implementing changes to existing processes can quickly become prohibitively expensive, especially when Salesforce is involved.

Creating an Email to Serve as the Leader of a Salesforce Process
This is a common (and often uncomfortable) situation that Mailparser encounters quite often. Most companies that receive leads via email from third-party suppliers or web contact forms have used our services in the past. These leads are often very valuable and should be transferred to Salesforce (or any other CRM) quickly and accurately for salesforce email to follow.
This lesson will help to better understand Mailparser’s relationship with Salesforce. You can also continue reading down the page.
An email lead is a typical email that arrives in your inbox one at a time. It will contain important information such as “First Name: Peter” and “Email: his@email.com”, as shown in the example.
Other situations call for multiple leads to be submitted in PDF or Excel files. These file attachments are then sorted, and organized. After receiving the leads, staff members transfer them to Salesforce using the same repetitive copy-and-paste process day after day.
It would be wonderful to have an automated Salesforce email process to lead that does all the work for you so that you can spend more of your time with leads and closing more deals. Does Salesforce have a program that lets you import data from the email into your CRM system?

Mailparser accounts should receive lead emails.
Mailparser analyzes your email and extracts the relevant data fields.
Salesforce automatically creates new records when a new record request is made.
Easy! This all happens completely automatically and takes less than one minute. This sounds interesting? Continue reading to learn how Salesforce can be configured to convert incoming emails into leads.
First, you need to analyze the incoming emails and find relevant data fields.
Mailparser offers sophisticated tools to extract any type of information from email and convert it into structured data that can be easily managed. If you follow the steps, you can easily parse and send your first email to Salesforce in under an hour.

Salesforce: Fully Automated Lead Email Sending
It is a great advantage to have all your contact information in one place. But what you want is to have a Salesforce record that generates a Lead, Contact, Case, or Custom Object record.
Mailparser can send extracted data to hundreds of applications thanks to Zapier. Salesforce email connectivity is supported natively and can be activated in less than a minute. Learn more about the email lead feature on the AppExchange. It takes only a few minutes to create a webhook and connect your Salesforce account with Mailparser.
After your account has been linked, you can choose which type of object you wish to produce (Lead or Case, Contact, etc.). You can then map the data fields to your account.
It’s that simple! An automatic email to Salesforce lead data entry option has been created, replacing manual data entry. Mailparser is a simple tool to transfer email leads into Salesforce.

Automating Salesforce workflows can improve efficiency.
You need a marketing software ecosystem that can be tailored to your specific needs to help you reach your goals more effectively and compete with other businesses.
It may contain a variety of components that are used in different areas of your campaign, such as email marketing and SEO, customer relationship management, or general content marketing.
Transferring data from one platform to the other is something you will do more often than not. If you use Salesforce Customer Relation Management System (CRM), you can transmit leads using an existing interface. This could be done from your landing page builder or contact form tool (CMS).
In some cases, it is necessary to export the data to a CSV file before it can be imported to Salesforce. Or, you can manually enter the data, which can lead to human error.
Parserr is a high-quality email Parserr program that comes in handy when this happens.
Before the parser was installed, you could send emails to Salesforce leads.
Salesforce, founded in 1999, was a pioneer in customer relationship management software. It also likely became the first company to rent its software under the SAAS model. Salesforce’s goal was to make software easier to buy, more accessible, and more democratic, by removing the complexity of maintenance and installation.
It began as a centralized customer management platform, but it has since evolved into a platform offering solutions in the areas of sales, marketing, community, and mobile apps.
Before Parserr was introduced, contact information had been manually entered into Salesforce. This not only takes up significant time but can also be very costly for a company.
This is likely costing your company more than you realize!
Let’s look at some numbers together. Let’s suppose you have decided that someone on your team should take this responsibility. Consider the following:
- An annual salary of $60,000 (US Median Wage). It takes 8 minutes for the data to be entered into the third-party system, and 2 minutes to verify the data. (This does not include the 23 minutes and 15 seconds it takes to focus after someone is distracted.
- Each month, 30 new leads. THE TOTAL IS 300 MIINS X FIVE HOURS X $145. Parserr is free for the first 15 leads that you generate each month. It is easy to set up Parserr. Salesforce leads can be imported directly from email campaigns. This is done by creating rules that extract the information from the email and then import it into the Salesforce database. You can find more information in the instructions below.
It is possible to send and capture email leads directly into Salesforce.
Parserr can automatically copy and paste data from your incoming emails instead of you manually doing it. After everything is in place, you can simply go to the next step:
Step 1:
Parserr allows you to create an account. Parserr is here to help you automate your company and eliminate the need for human data input through email and document parsing technologies. Simply visit our website and enter your email address to begin. We’ll guide you through the rest.
After you have signed up, we will guide you through the setup process. Click the “Excellent” button. Click on the “Let’s Get This Party Started” button
Step 2:
Send the email containing Salesforce information to us. You’ll then be granted access to your email account. This allows you to send us the emails that you require directly.
Step 3:
Please complete the onboarding information form. We will ask you some additional questions to ensure you receive the best service possible. If the information you are looking for is in the email body, select “Body”. If they are already in the “Subject”, choose “Body.”
Parserr’s Salesforce Integration will be used, so we will choose “None” as our next step.
The final question in onboarding is where are you trying to send your data? Salesforce is an example.
Step 4:
The Quick Setup for Salesforce Email To Lead will be completed. You might be welcomed with this screen. If you are not, don’t worry. This page simply indicates that we can automatically parse some rules. We are confident that you will save time by choosing certain rules. This makes it much easier to obtain your data.
Step 5:
Set up your rules to extract data from your email and then upload it to Salesforce. Parserr lets you set parsing rules to direct the system to extract information from your emails. Once you’ve completed the initial setup, the “Rules” section of the main dashboard allows you to add additional parsing guidelines.
If our goal is to send information about leads to Salesforce, then we should start with something simple.
To build a parsing rule that extracts leads’ email addresses, choose “Body” in the drop-down menu.
You have the option to choose “Stripped HTML” when choosing the email body attribute. This may mean that important components, such as email addresses, are missing from the first data output.
You might have thought of using the “From” element to retrieve the sender’s email address directly, but you didn’t.
The previous article, “How to Use an email Parserr for Automated Data Extraction From Inquiries,” explained how to extract potential leads’ email addresses by using the “From” part of an email message. The article also provided information on how to send emails from another account to your Parserr Inbox.
The article reveals that the “From” property was used since sample emails were sent directly by leads. This means that Parserr’s “Form” attribute will use the leads’ email addresses for data extraction instead of those provided by the user.
Your leads may submit their information via a contact form on your site. The sender’s email address might look something like the following:
- This is not the email address to collect if you are running a lead generation campaign.
- Returning to the “Body”, an email that is sent in response to a contact form submission should contain an initial data output similar to the following:
- Next, extract the email address found in the body. To do this, click on the green + button. This will apply a parsing filter to your data.
- Choose “Find material that you need” from the drop-down menu located under the “Rule categories” heading.
This will temporarily refresh the parsing configuration window and show all the available rule steps under the selected category. Continue clicking the right arrow until you reach the rule step that requires you to “Find all email addresses”.
Selecting “Save” will instantly apply the rule step to your initial data output. Your parsing rule will be effective as long as it contains only one email address.
Give your parsing rules a name, then click “Save Rule” to save them to your computer. You should now be able to see the new rule in your Parserr dashboard’s list of active rules.
Parserr can extract many other types of information, including email addresses. Parserr can also extract many other types of information.
If you are using the same sample email as above, you can extract your lead’s full names by using the “Find all texts before” rule step. Then insert the left-angle bracket before the email address. To remove the phrase “From” from the data, you will need to create a “Search & Replace” step.
