The survey was conducted by 843 marketers with varying levels of experience to find out how marketing professionals are adapting to new trends.
Social Media and Content
Social media and content marketing were the most popular channels for marketing opportunities in 2022. This was true for all levels of experience and age in marketers.
The Metaverse is a new market. In 2022, 61% wanted a brand presence within the metaverse.
Marketers with six years or more of experience are far more likely to promote a brand’s existence within the metaverse (64%) than those with only 53%.
Marketers have also been drawn to the crypto space. Marketers of all experience levels agreed that the ideal use of cryptocurrency in marketing will be part of their plans for this year.
NFTs were a potential opportunity for 4 out of 4 marketers. Non-fun give tokens emerged on the market in the last. They are the fourth most popular trend among newer marketers.
