Gmail

Gmail’s free version doesn’t allow you to view a read receipt. This capability is only available to G Suite, Google’s premium cloud product.

You can enable read receipt requests within the G Suite Administration Console if you have a G Suite subscription. Click OK, then go to Apps >> G Suite >> Settings for Gmail >> Advanced Settings.

Scroll down to Section Email Read Receipts for the cryptic option: Allow email read receipts to be delivered to all addresses within my organization as well as to the following email addresses. Change the setting to “on”.

This option is enabled. To request a receipt for an email you are writing, click the bottom right arrow in the Compose window.

For $5 per month, you can purchase the Pro version of Mailtrack to remove the signature.
