How do I create a callout extension

  1. Register to Google Ads.
  2. Click “Ads and Extensions” to the left.
  3. Click the “Extensions” link at the top.
  4. Click the plus button.
  5. Select “Callout extension.” “
  6. Choose the level you want to add callouts from the dropdown menu. “
  7. You have the option to create a brand-new callout or use an existing one.
    • Make a new callout
      • Click on “Advanced options”, to choose your preferred device. If you click on the box next to “Mobile”, your callouts only will appear on mobile devices.
      • Type the text that you would like to include in your callout in the “Callout Text” field.
    • If you’re using an existing callout
      • Click on the circle right of “Use existing.” “
      • Choose the callouts you want to use from the drop-down list.
  8. Click the “Save” button.

Editing callout extension calls

  1. Register to Google Ads.
  2. Click “Ads and Extensions” to the left.
  3. Click the “Extensions” link at the top.
  4. To edit the callout name, click the “Extensions” column.
  5. Make changes to the callout in the window that opens. Click the arrow in the top-right corner of the screen to access the page for editing callouts.
  6. Click the “Save” button.

Schedule extension calls

  1. Register to Google Ads.
  2. Click “Ads and Extensions” to the left.
  3. Click the “Extensions” link at the top.
  4. To schedule your callout in the Extensions column, click on the name of the callout.
  5. To open the window, click the arrow in the upper-right corner.
  6. Select “Advanced options”
  7. Select the start date for the callout extension. Follow the same process.
  8. Click on the “Extension schedule tab” to select the days and times you want your callouts to appear in your ads.
  9. To select additional timeframes, click “Add”.
  10. Click the “Save” button.

Callout extensions removed

  1. Register to Google Ads.
  2. Click “Ads and Extensions” to the left.
  3. Click the “Extensions” link at the top.
  4. Select the boxes to your right of the callouts you want to delete.
  5. Next, click on the “Edit” button. Select “Remove.” “
