Are you fed up with the recent price hike for GoogleSuite and want to switch? You can check out my list of GSuite alternatives that will help you kickstart your search.
No matter how small or large your company may be, it needs to be built up like a machine.
Companies need to invest in team collaboration and a productivity suite to allow departments to share information, share, streamline workflows and keep on track with project goals.
Some customers have decided to move their business elsewhere due to the rich feature set and secure third-party email hosting.
These are the Gsuite Alternatives
Microsoft Office 365
Microsoft Office 365 is perhaps the most well-known Gsuite Alternate. It has been a leading competitor to Workspace since June 2011 and is one of the most popular productivity suites in the world.
Office 365 offers a wide range of services, including SharePoint for web collaboration, Exchange for email hosting, and Teams for chat-based collaboration. OneDrive file storage and sharing are also available. Office 365 integrates with other platforms in the Microsoft ecosystem, such as Microsoft Dynamics.
Microsoft 365 is a digital office that allows file management, document editing, and real-time communication.
To deploy sensitive workloads on-premises, the solution can be integrated into your infrastructure to create a hybrid cloud. This makes Microsoft 365 a good alternative to G Suite.
Office 365 users have access to Exchange for the same price as Workspace Basic. They can access Exchange with 50 GB mailbox storage, 24/7 telephone and web support, 1 TB OneDrive file storage, and many other features.
Rate-Office 365 Business Essentials starts from $5/user/mo Annual commitment.
Review – “We use Microsoft 365 Business for all our essential office software solutions including word processing, spreadsheets, and presentations, as well as email, cloud-based document management, and cloud-based file management.
As a cloud solution, we switched to Microsoft 365 Business to allow us to stop updating individual laptops, give our employees access to multiple licenses, and discontinue using an alternative third-party Exchange email service.
Microsoft 365 Business offered us better solutions and lowered costs.
Rackspace
Rackspace is an American-based managed cloud computing company with offices around the world. It offers the same global scale and price as Google Workspace.
Rackspace Webmail is the company’s top email hosting platform. It was designed to provide affordable Webhosting services for small businesses.
Users might find Rackspace Webmail’s features less extensive than Google’s, as with all Gsuite alternatives on this list.
Rackspace Webmail makes up the difference in many ways. It has 25 GB mailboxes and 50 MB attachments, twice as large as Workspaces. Microsoft Outlook integration, a 100 percent uptime guarantee, and much more.
Rates – The basic package starts at $2.99/user/mo
Review – Rackspace gives us the ability to manage many aspects of our service in a way we didn’t have before. I forbade permits through non-secure channels and required everyone to use SSL/TLS for email checking.
Our personalized/branded webmail portal URL and URL were lost. However, this was not a major concern as it is an internal system. Customers don’t see it.
This loss has the advantage of allowing us to connect to secure services more easily without needing to buy a certificate.
Slack
Now let’s discuss Slack, which is also on the Gsuite Alternative list.
Slack was introduced in April 2013. It is now one of the most widely used software tools for team cooperation.
With an intuitive user interface (UI), a directory that includes over 1,500 apps, video calling functions, and security attributes, it’s clear why Slack has been able to replace HipChat, Campfire, and other team chat apps.
Slack may not have the same features as Workspace, but it can be a formidable competitor to Google’s Hangouts Chat or Hangouts Meet apps. Even if you decide not to switch to Workspace, you still can use Slack with Workspace’s newly released integration.
Rate – Freemium
Review – Send files, GIFs, and videos to your team, make team video calls, and create channels so they can chat with one another.
Sharing links allows you to display rich content previews and can even be customized with emojis.
The possibilities of personalization are endless. Even if you have a free version, it is very powerful.
After I purchased the paid version, I was able to access all archived files. Slack is a great tool for any team size and I have been using it for around four years.

Samepage is also included in the Gsuite Alternative list. Let’s get to know Samepage better.
Samepage’s motto is “get more done when you have it all in one”, and it still lives up to that slogan. It offers file sharing, task management, and document partnership tools in a single solution making it an alternative to Workspace.
Samepage has limited email hosting capabilities but offers instant messaging, voice and video calls, group chat, task management, and file management capabilities.
Samepage is an affordable solution. It offers a starter edition that allows small teams to store 2GB and unlimited guests, members, and groups.
Rate – Freemium When billed annually, $9/member/mo. When billed monthly
Review: “This tool can allow us to collaborate across multiple locations and project types.” It provides regular updates which are always beneficial.
Any queries are quickly and efficiently answered by the support team. The interface provides practical tips and guidelines.
It is easy to set up the desktop version. It doesn’t take up much hard disk space.
This software features a calendar function which makes it easy for me to see team events and tasks. With a little help from Zapier, I can integrate Samepage with my other apps such as Google Calendar.
Dropbox
Dropbox was established in cloud storage and has expanded to team management and cooperation.
Dropbox Business allows team members to easily share files and folders, create and edit documents in real-time, review files, and much more from one location.
Although Dropbox Business does not offer the same features as Workspace, it can compete with Google Drive for Business. This makes it an excellent alternative for businesses looking for cloud storage.
Dropbox Business Standard Package starts at $12.50/user/mo
Review: Dropbox Business is a user-friendly platform that allows for unlimited file storage and file retrieval and large user permissions. This makes it easier to collaborate with your team.
Dropbox claims that Dropbox Business is used by 300,000 users. You will need to create a new Microsoft 365 account or increase your costs to revise files online.
However, for business-class cloud storage and file-sharing solutions that are all-purpose and can be used for any purpose, the PCMag Editors Choice designation is highly deserved.”
Bitrix24
It was designed for small businesses. Bitrix24 offers a complete suite of capabilities:
- Social networking
- Web domain hosting
- Document collaboration
- Chat with others
- Email Hosting
- Video conferencing
- Mobile portal
- Management of human resources and other related topics.
Bitrix24 is highly praised for both its cloud-based implementation and on-premises options.
Bitrix24 offers additional features not available in Workspaces such as customer relationship management, project management, and project management. This makes it an excellent choice for organizations that need all the functionality of Workspaces.
Rate – Freemium For up to 50 users, On-Premises Edition costs $1,490 per month
Review – “What do I love about Bitrix24? It allows me to manage projects and keep track of the tasks that are assigned to each member of the project, in this instance, the development team.
Chat is available to keep the group informed, as well as contact management and other features. It also offers real-time support through all the most popular communication channels such as messaging, email, and social networks.
Citrix ShareFile
Citrix ShareFile, like many other entries on the list, is a collaboration suite that helps to improve efficiency at work.
ShareFile offers a powerful offering that includes advanced document sharing and management functions, online collaboration tools for teams on the go, unlimited cloud storage, and enhanced security to ensure regulatory compliance.
Citrix’s collaboration with Google means that ShareFile users have the best of both worlds.
Citrix customers have access to ShareFile Connectors for Google Drive and co-editing with Google Docs through Workspace integration.
Rates – Standard Package starts at $10/mo
Review: “[ShareFile] allows us to collaborate and execute our tasks with ease.
Drawings and other documents can be shared with clients. We can send files larger than 10 MB. This is possible with other tools, particularly personalized Outlook.
